My husband has inherited a very ornate Buffet from the late 1800s, which has been in my husbands family for approximately one hundred years. Through the years it has become a little loose and a leg was cracked at one of the joints. We researched and visited many restoration shops through out the area. Until we came upon Gilberts Upholstery we did not really feel comfortable with leaving such a valuable piece of our familys heritage with anyone. The brothers were extremely knowledgeable about the correct method of repair and blending of the stain so that it appears like it was never repaired.

UPHOLSTERY:
I purchased two matching mid-century, very ornate chairs from their vast inventory of antique furniture they have in stock. Gilberts availability to offer different materials and in a variety of price range made my experience easy and enjoyable.
Sandra Townsend, Mount Laurel, New Jersey
My experience with Gilberts Upholstery was very easy, considering I am single male and I really did not have a good idea with color coordination. With the help of Richard Pons and his knowledge in appropriate period materials we selected a material, which enhanced the aesthetic appearance of my modern mid century chairs.
Joseph Rodgers, Miami Beach, Florida
ANTIQUES:
The amount and quality of unique pieces at Gilberts Antique Gallery makes it, in my opinion one of the best antique store in Philadelphia.
Nancy Duharte, Philadelphia, Pa.
My husband and I feel that Gilberts Antique Gallery is great find away from downtown, because as a serious collector, we always find an interesting piece in their store and more importantly always at a great price.
Jennifer Lindeman, Cherry Hill, New Jersey
